Supported Housing Officer
Supported housing services help people live safely and independently. As a Supported Housing Officer, the range of people you help may include young care leavers, those who are or have been homeless, people with learning disabilities, people with drug or alcohol issues and ex-offenders. Your job is likely to include:
Assessing needs and developing support plans
Working with other agencies/services, such as health and social care
Attending case conferences
Advocating on behalf of clients
Helping clients with essential living skills, such as budgeting and shopping.
Services may be in a residential unit or support may be provided where the person lives.
Health and social care qualifications are relevant for this role.
