Community Development Officer
Tenants have a right to say how their homes are managed and maintained. As a Community Development Officer, you will listen and respond to tenant and community needs. You will work with them to create and deliver projects that have a positive impact.
Your job is likely to include:
Working in partnership with tenants, resident and local community organisations to identify issues and solutions
Developing community projects that promote active citizen participation amongst people of all ages
Consultation and engagement, networking, project management and capacity building
Working with other agencies
Regular meetings with local organisations and community members to build relationships and progress projects.
Community and youth development qualifications are relevant for this role.
